WHO WILL RUN THE ALLERGY TESTING PROGRAM?
Allergy tests and immunotherapy treatment are administered by an Allergy Specialist. However, all allergy services are performed under the supervision of a doctor or appropriate healthcare provider.
WHAT IS THE DOCTOR'S FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY?
Sinus & Allergy Solutions charges a flat monthly retainer for the first 3 months. The physician will be provided a list of all required equipment and supplies to purchase and have on hand to begin training.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THE PROVIDER'S STAFF?
The provider’s staff is responsible for referring patients and managing billing in addition to referring internal patients to the program. Sinus & Allergy Solutions’ staff will be responsible for all allergy testing, treatment, scheduling, and assisting with insurance verification.
HOW WILL MY STAFF BE TRAINED?
Sinus & Allergy Solutions will place an allergy specialist on site and your staff will be trained to refer and assist with managing the allergy process. After the training period, the allergy specialist will be responsible for testing, treatment, and administration of therapy.
HOW IS INVOICING MANAGED?
In order to build up cash flow from the allergy services, your practice will not be billed by Sinus & Allergy Solutions until 30 days after the initial Allergy services have been provided.
HOW DOES THE DOCTOR CHOOSE THE RIGHT CANDIDATES FOR TESTING?
An Allergy profile will be given to patients to determine if they are appropriate candidates for Allergy testing.
WHO PROVIDES ALLERGY TESTING SUPPLIES?
Sinus & Allergy Solutions will provide a list of everything you need and it is the physician’s responsibility to order before the first training.
HOW OFTEN WILL THE ALLERGY SPECIALIST BE IN THE OFFICE?
Sinus & Allergy Solutions will provide your office with an Allergy Specialist on a part time basis depending on the demand and physician referrals.
WHAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DOCTOR’S STAFF?
The physician and other clinical staff will be responsible for referring patients to the allergy program. This will be pivotal to the success of the program. Other than that, the allergy specialist will be responsible for testing, treating, and administration of therapy.
HOW WILL PATIENTS KNOW IF ALLERGY TESTING IS COVERED BY THEIR INSURANCE?
In most cases, allergy testing is covered. Sinus & Allergy Solutions will contact your patients’ insurance companies to verify and pre-authorize insurance. Afterwards, patients are contacted and informed of their benefits for allergy testing.
